We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring you have a positive experience on our application.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle your personal information
when you use the StatusSnap mobile application and related services.
StatusSnap lets you view, save, and share WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business statuses on your Android device.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to the

7. Background Processing
StatusSnap uses Android WorkManager for two optional background tasks:
- Auto-Save Worker — Runs periodically (your chosen interval: 1h / 3h / 6h / 12h); reads the WhatsApp Statuses folder and saves new media to your device; sends a notification when new statuses are saved; only active when you enable "Auto-Save" in Settings
- Auto-Clean Worker — Periodically removes older saved statuses from your device; only affects files in Downloads/StatusSnap/; never deletes original WhatsApp files

- View your preferences and download history within the app
- Delete download history entries individually (swipe to delete) or all at once ("Clear all")
- Delete saved media files from the Saved tab
