This privacy policy applies to the StatusSnap app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by GoLite (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
StatusSnap reads WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business status media (photos and videos) that is already stored on your device, so you can save a copy to your gallery. This media is processed entirely on your device and is never uploaded to the Service Provider's servers or any third party.
The Application may also collect standard technical information such as:
StatusSnap does not require an account and does not collect your name, phone number, or contacts.
StatusSnap requests storage/media access so it can locate and save WhatsApp status files. This permission is used only for that purpose.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it, using the standard uninstall process available on your device or via the app marketplace.
Saved status media stays on your device under your control — the Service Provider does not retain a copy. If you have questions about any data collected, please contact support@golite.in and they will respond in a reasonable time.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information, please contact the Service Provider at support@golite.in.
The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Application is deemed approval of all changes.
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
